Embodied Carbon Pilates Redevelopment

A redevelopment of a University of Melbourne building into a Core Plus office and training area. The aim of this project was to learn and consider the whole life of carbon within the site. How can we redevelop the structure to ensure that we minimise the emodied energy we add whilst reducing the future use of operational energy. This required the reuse of structural materials, relaying the program and implementing new passive design strategies.
